Mental Health is one of the leading causes of poor health today.  Violence and Poverty-induced pain worsened over the past 2 years. Depression is soaring. Pandemic suffering and woes are immeasuarble. People are told to “Grin and Bear it ” which is hard enough to do on a regular day. Where do you go when you are hurting? How can you tell if someone you know is hurting themselves in harms’ way?  We can teach you.  Certify you. You can learn to lead your own ‘block “ to better mental health. There are various levels but we can train you to be Mental Health First Aid Responder – for free. Help save someone!

Complexities of aging workplaces with fast-paced societal demands have eroded neighborhood anchors and resources. people are dying faster on the South Side than on the West. These conditions need to be Immediately addressed:   

They are:

  3. Cancer;

  4. Hypertension;

  5. Diabetes;

  6. Renal failure (Kidney Disease)

We are looking for volunteers to join our “Trust Network of Community Care:

 There are various levels of education in Community Health. SWACLO can thelp your and organization find the best fit.
